Biography

Biography

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics, Texas A&M University. I am the Co-Director of the Single Cell Data Science Core, a Research Affiliate at the Texas A&M Institute of Data Science (TAMIDS), and the Co-Director of the Center for Statistical Bioinformatics. I enjoy working on problems that are at the intersection of statistics, artificial intelligence, philosophy, biology, and health. Recreationally, I like swimming, biking, running, and hiking.

The Texas A&M Health Center of Excellence in Cancer Research is funded by a Texas Regional Excellence in Cancer (TREC) award from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).
